Lithography is a method for printing using a limestone or a metal plate with a full flat surface. Lithography was invented in 1796 by Bavarian.
In Lithography an image to be printed is transferred on a flat surface, as metal plate (as said before) and treated to keep ink while the non image area is prevented from ink.
